Pictures of CB's at stock height?

I'm debating whether to spend the money on a drop, so It'd be nice if I could see some nice CB's at stock height, please post them up!

Stock height on a CB is like driving a lifted truck. They NEED to be lowered to look good. NO exceptions.

Seriously @crazymikey?! While I do plan to lower mine in the future because it does look A LOT better, i didn't think they looked really all that bad at stock height, or at least with smaller tires.

To the OP, I'd take a picture of mine, but I'm completely stock, and I'm assuming you are also and just want to see a modded CB that's not lowered.

Yes, seriously. As soon as you start to mod a CB and leave it at stock height it looks ridiculous whether you're on stock wheels or anything 16" or bigger.

Just a mild drop is needed. Lowering a CB is IMO, the very best cosmetic thing you can do to improve the overall look of the car without doing anything else to it.

Oh, but what do I know about CB's, I've only had...I lost count.

All you really need is a mild 1.5" drop, using something like Tein springs.

I've run Tanabe, Tein and 2 other sets of unknown springs, and then Function and Forum coilovers.

All of them ride just fine. Buy yourself a get set of springs, and make sure you buy new struts too, because having new struts makes all the difference in the world.

By the time you are all said and done, whether you buy springs/struts or coilovers, be prepared to have spent $500-800 to do it properly.

Besides aesthetics, my car handled awful at stock height. I'm sure blown shocks played a part in that, but still these cars sit very high and have horrible body roll at stock height.
If you plan to do any sort of spirited driving I would say lowering it is a necessity.

Mine looks a bit higher than that, however it could be your front/back lip.

Thanks! I browsed your thread and finally found the drop. It did make a world difference! I think dropping it 1.5-2" has just become my main priority instead of exterior mods.

Your first drop with the tein springs was 1.5"? I like the mild drop.

I think those Tein's were rated something like 1.7". I got the S-Tech springs. They also make a less aggressive H-Tech.

Those springs ran me about $260 shipped from Ebay. I would pair those up with some half decent struts like KYB GR-2.

i have Tein S-techs with Koni yellows not too low but still scrape stuff with a legend sedan lip. but where i'm at, i scraped with it on at stock height if i was careless.

Here's mine at stock height with 15s. I don't lower her because of the roads where I live. Doesn't look as good but I think it still looks great!

See, your car looks fantastic, but it really really needs just a mild 1.5" to complete the whole look. Seriously, everyone thinks a 1.5" drop will kill them and rip off oil pans and bottom out everywhere.

It doesn't. Look at all the newer cars and how little wheel gap many cars have now.
