ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Hey couple questions, did you notice any improvement from the SRI mod that F20A recommended? I've got the exact same one and am wondering whether I should try shortening it.
Also did you install that ebay headerback system? Did you have any difficulties with it? I am also just starting out and am trying to get a gauge on how difficult it would be lol, thanks!

Yea it definitely helped I would do it again in a heartbeat, plus look at how much better it made the engine bay look. Also, yea me and a buddy did most of the exhaust when it was raining at night... (I couldn't wait to get started, and he is a truly great friend.) It's not to bad, but the few things I've run into, is
1. Ebay exhaust comes with a test pipe (no cat) Really need a cat...
2. one pipe the s-shaped one was a bit to long take it to a shop when you get it on, and let them shorten what needs to be shortened (It'll be a lot neater)
3. Cheap Ebay exhaust will always have that annoying Coffee can on crack sound
My suggestion is to have a muffler shop fab up a 2.5" cat-back with a decent muffler. I've gotten mine to sound decent but would have been a lot less of a headache, and a lot less money if I had done it this way to begin with. And you can still always upgrade from there later...
Side note-I see your from VA anywhere close to Harrisonburg? Here's what I'm working with tell me what you think.

nice start there tim, and welcome to the site! Not sure if you have done it or not, but one thing i would suggest, is just some basic maintenance such as new timing belt, plugs, wires, and, if the wallet allows, water pump and oil pump. You'll free up some power and help the longevity of your engine as well. hope you enjoy it sir

Thank you WVcb7, It has new distributor cap, rotor button, spark plugs and wires. planning timing belt, and water pump soon. Along with oil pan gasket (it needs it, right now 1st priority) Just replaced rear wheel cylinders today bleed all brakes, it helped it alot though I still need new rotors, pads, drums, and shoes (also soon.)
And F20A thank you for the idea it is working so well.
To all other thank you, and I'll keep updating. Here's what I'm working with tell me what you think.

2nd Cb on its way.
I got another cb7. Im going to have pictures soon, but it's a 92 as well really cool color too. This one is a manual (has a few transmission problems), the body and interior or fairly clean... I got it for $320. I'm a bit disappointed though, it threw the timing belt during my second day of ownership. Here's what I'm working with tell me what you think.
