ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

What's wrong with the headlights? Is it bad that I don't have HIDs? I have all stock lighting, keeping with the stock looking theme.

Ralphie, for the DRLs, most vehicles only use the high beams on low output or the parking lights here. In the case of both my car and truck, they use the full low beam lighting system, including the corners, tails & plate lights.

After 1991, DRLs were mandatory here, but I see lots of vehicles without them.

Chopped off the stock muffler and axle back portion of the exhaust on the truck tonight. Had a Midas Turbo muffler (small generic oval style muffler) and put that on and then dumped the pipe infront of the axle.

Runs so much smoother and a bit quicker now. That old exhaust was really restrictive. It's a bit louder now, but sounds pretty decent. Had my buddy run up and down the street so I could hear it. Sounds like 100hp of raging fury lol.

Where did I say HID's? Calm down.

Throw some JDM or EDM two peicers on there. Will really bring the front together. I hate the stock lights, Looks cheap.
        wat?

I'm so tempted to slam the truck. Probably will, since I already have 3" blocks and extended U bolts to use on it.

The car will be receiving F&F's while I do my winter overhaul. I'm just driving it for the summer and it's going in the garage for the winter.

I like both! For the truck, pull a leaf and use those 3in blocks you have. Loosen the t-bars up in the front and run toxic shocks all around. It'll be nice and low and still ride great.

I wish I could trade my heart for an extra liver, just so I can drink more and care less.

                      I'm no strangers to minitrucks.

                      My previous endeavors:

Made it into Minitruckin Magazine in 2008

Just a bit of a minitruck whore before I discovered Hondas lol.

So, the truck's slammed now. Surprisingly, it rides really good. Doesn't even bottom out the way my Mazdas used to.

Just need to adjust the torsions in the front a bit.

This truck is so much fun to drive now. I missed having a truck in general, and especially a minitruck. With how low it is, it surprisingly still has a ton of suspension travel. I think I'll even be able to haul the H22 in it and not bottom it out.

It rides like a Cadillac compared to my B2200's, which is funny because they all have the same leaf spring and torsion bar setup. But my Mazdas bounced around like old jalopies while this thing is super smooth....for a slammed ride.

My car rides as good as stock on the Tein springs too, so it's a nice comfy ride.....but F&F's will take care of that.

I'm gonna be honest. There is only ONE thing I don't find tasteful about your car.... and that's the rear lip deal. other than that it is pure sex. I never realized a color matched 90-91 grill looked so good on a white cb?

                              Slamage is worth the Damage

I agree with the rear lip. While from a distance, I love the look, up close you can clearly tell it is added on.

However, over the winter while I do my H swap and body work, I am planning to actually mold the lip into the bumper. I haven't seen anyone do that yet, and I don't want to buy an aftermarket lip because I'm trying to do all my exterior mods with OEM pieces.

I was skeptical about the grille before I painted it. After I did it and installed it I almost creamed my pants when I stood back and looked at it the first time.

In the near future I would also like to do the CD5 coupe side skirts as well. I had a chance to get some a while ago, but they crushed the car before I was able to get them off.
