ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Installed: 4G Prelude rear seats

I have never seen this done, so I'm currently working on installing a full set of 1994 Prelude front & rear seats into my coupe. I have also swapped in the black seatbelts from the Prelude as well. The rear belts are completely bolt in and line up. The fronts (for manual seatbelt equipped cars) bolt up on the bottom, but the top bracket with the 10mm bolt is too tall, so you need to drill a new hole for it.

I'm not finished yet, these photos are mock ups and in progress installation.

As you can see, the seats are too narrow to begin with.

This is where you need to sacrifice your old seat foam and make spacers, and then reupholster them.

Will update as I make progress on this. Debating to reuse the old covers and dye them black, or just use some black carpet for the foam spacers. But otherwise the seats are pretty much mocked up and ready to install for good.

Interested to see how the back seats will come out but I love the prelude fronts. Good work so far

Done. Need to work out some of the wrinkles on those side panels though.

This was a ton of work and I wouldn't really recommend tackling this project. I'm exhausted. I have about 10 hours into this and still needs some adjustments.

Not sure how they'd fit but you do know that 99-03 CL rear seats are the same kind; double bucket with the center console.

What you've done looks good though. Just, as you mentioned, it's a lot of work.

I only did this swap because I had the front seats, and I wanted it all to match. I figured what the hell, I'll try and make it work.

The hardest part was making the foam spacers on the sides. The bottom ones I wrapped with black carpet and the upper ones I wrapped with CB sedan rear seat side panel covers, then sprayed them black since they were grey.

Atleast it all matches now and it's something I've yet to see done.
