ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    My second accord

So this has been my project for about 4 months now. It is a 1993 Accord EX. Just slowly taking my time to put her back to somewhat good condition. I will fix that rust issue lol I know it's bad, but the local junkyard wants 350 for the quarter panels that are clean. It has a short ram intake with 2.5 inch exhaust. I have an extra cam that I will be sending to delta soon to be regrinded to a 272 cam. I also have an extra crank for when I build the internals for turbo to be balanced to about 8k rpms. This is when I have money though. And also when I go turbo I will have the original ground to be a turbo regrind from delta. I will eventually fix the rust and clean up all the dents though. It used to have the stock spoiler but that trunk lid was very rusty so i just bought a different lid and will keep the spoiler for later use. I do have the grille in it now and it is a gold one lol. But I bought this car with a black front bumper, driver fender, and driver door. It also had a broken driver side strut. I tore all the interior out and pressured washed most of it and used turtle wax interior cleaner on the floor and seats. The kid before me also went spray happy and spray painted the door handles on the inside along with the center console. I replaced the center console but haven't been able to find door handles at the junkyard yet. I also have the prelude shifter assembly in it. I have a Tanabe hyper medallion muffler that will be soon put on to my 3 inch Kteller exhaust when I go to turbo. So hopefully it sounds good. I also have 18 inch rims that will go on it.
Sorry if I just rambled on but I wanted to cover everything.
Oh and I only bought this car for $325.

That is a pretty color. No other cars on the road has that color. Hope it all works out for u when done.

350 for rear panals is kinda a lot I think. My jy dont charge that much.

This is why I don't buy from private owned junkyards... Like who else is buying 1993 accord quarter panels Yet they want to charge us top dollar.
But those rims are nice, Put em on.

Yea and them are the only quarter panels around me within in about 250 miles and the new replacement ones don't have everything I need to get all the rust gone. There is a carbon fiber hood on cl for $200 I am trying to get, would be a good replacement. And I would put the rims on but I don't know yet what size tire I can fit under the car with them. And thanks for all the replies.
Here is an exhaust clip. Sounds ricey, but that will all soon be changed.

It is a hell of a project but should all be worth it when I build it up. Just taking it slow for right now. Been trying to get my own place. I also bought some corbeau seats that I am gonna put in as soon as I buy/fabricate brackets for them.
