Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Fixed/repainted my bumper

    With my car being a base model, came with black bumpers.

    First thing I did was go to the wreckers and swap the bumpers out with white ones from an EX-R coupe so I had colour matched bumpers.

    However, the JY white bumper I got was far from mint. As you can see below, scratches and scuffs on both corners, a big chunk taken out of it and a crack below the pass. side corner light. Just looked crappy.





    So, I took my original black bumper today and colour matched it. Used Duplicolor Perfect Match Frost White. Rattle can. I shaved the licence plate holes, filled some scratches and painted it up and put the chrome strip back on the molding. Need to clean up some tape lines on the moldings and stuff and it's all good to go. Nice and fresh.








    Over the next few weeks I will be tackling the rust on my quarter panel, driver door and dent on my RH quarter panel.

      Thanks. I spent about 4 and a half hours on it for prep, paint, dry & install.

      The colour match seems to be quite close and the finish quality is quite good. Got about 5 coats of clear ontop of 3 coats of white.

            Looks good! use the por15 you have for the quarter panel rust.it stops it real quick.ever since i fixed mine with it hasn't come back.

              Im about to paint my bathroom and I fucking hate taping.

              Spray paint is a pita as well.

              Only thing I ever sprayed on my old cb was the wiper arms....and then cleared them.

                  Tape job sucks balls because all I had was masking tape and that shit takes to curves about as well as a drag car and wrinkles up like grandpa's ball sack.

                  I used some U-POL flexible filler for the bumper holes.
