ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Your custom trunk pictures.

Need some ideas. Winter is ending soon here in Canada and I am looking forward to putting back in my audio equipment. My system I would say sounds great! but was always a mess, the trunk was always messy, wires all over the place. No matter how hard I tried to clean up. Has anyone fiber glassed their trunk or create a custom layout? Would love to see some pictures for some ideas. Thanks.

Tuck em'. I re-did my whole truck, tucked all wires under the fabric or through a hole in the board underneath. Check out my MRT for more pics. My amp is on the backseat too and my subbox in the trunk

Not my pics or car, but some just ideas.

Ooooh, I like that sunk in the floor like that.

I always thought making a false floor under a wagon cargo tray would be a good way to hide your audio stuff.

Ya, I'm going to attempt the last picture someday, but my fabric will be black.

agreed, but blue. I really like that last one. Its simple. I'd probably put plexi glass so I can still utilize the trunk but then I will need to find someway to keep the amps cool because they would be enclosed...hmmmm....

You could always hook up a computer case fan or two. Just hook the power wire on the fan to the remote wire on the amp, that way they won't come on until the amps come on??

I've got two 12" MTX already in a box, but I'm afraid they won't fit. Been fine tuning the rest of the audio and upgrading speakers before I throw in some subs.

I had 2 JL 15's in a hatch back box in the trunk of my Accord, it fit with room to spare. It was like 34-36 inches wide, 18 tall and probably 15-18 inches deep

I run 15"subs in a 7.5 cube box and still have room you'll be fine with 12's

This is what I had before the amps in the rear seat and my dvd player and screen were stolen. I built this setup 7 yrs ago for my Accord, I'm finally in the process of rebuilding my stereo system after having nothing for 6 years! I got rid of all the equipment that wasn't stolen, and now it'll be completely different. Hope to make progress on it this season.

That's a nice ass stereo. Those G5 woofers are beasts. I can buy one in a box right now for 200 bucks. It used to be my brothers, not sure if I want to buy it, it's been around, probably beat to shit.

Wherm, that's a really clean setup. I love the amps intergrated into the rear seatback. Very stealth.
