Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

      If they are not for looks, then 10000K is awful compared to 4300K. Higher colour temperature doesn't mean better visibility. Anything 8000K or above is basically just for looks. 4300K-5000K is the best for visibility as it is the closest to natural sunlight.

      ddmtuning.com apparently has great HID kits for great prices, but don't run HIDs in reflector headlights. Retrofit or GTFO

        Agreed, DDM is a great source for HID kits. Very cheap, and they're good quality. I have had a set of DDM HIDs for 2 years and they're still going.

        Good warranty on parts and cheap prices for replacement pieces.

        It's cheaper to buy a DDM HID kit than it is to buy a pair of Sylvania Silverstar Ultra halogen bulbs.

          I already did the projector retrofit and I checked out the site you were talking about. Would you recommend the raptor or actual DDM brand? Also what wattage there is a 35 and 55? Not the best with the lights. Used to have the silverstar ultra's til I upgraded.

                    I'm pretty sure the Raptor is DDM brand but anyway, not the point. Basically the Raptor is the normal version, the other one being the Slim ballast. Either one is fine, it doesn't matter that much. You're going to use a 35W, the appropriate bulb that fits with your projector. A wiring harness to protect the OEM 18-20 year old wires. And a mounting bracket if you decide on the Raptor full-sized version. For the colour type, I'd strongly suggest 5000k, apparently DDM ships 7000K when you select 6000K or 8000K. Either than or it's really blue.
