ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

my first honda ever...and first post ever

Just made a down payment on this thing today, I'll be driving it in a month or a little over. It's a 93 EX with a 2001 F23 and a 92 prelude H23 manual transmission swap. The only thing it needs is a shifter boot, haha. For 1,500 dollars, I'm pretty sure it's a steal. It has one teeeeeny tiny spot of rust, but I think the body alone is still worth 1500. The 01 F23 has right over 100,000 miles, and the transmission's roughly the same. I drove it as hard as I could and there were no problems, I can't wait to bring it home.

a friend of mine's. he's on here, i just can't remember his name. he's good friends with the guys who own the car lot, so they came down from 2500 for me. that green car is nice, i'm planning on doing similar things to mine, i'm just more about performance. my car will be boosted in half a year or so, hopefully.

haha, i had a few dollars knocked off since they were empty.

but yeah, it's in great shape, interior's mint, just dirty. the thing just needs some tlc. and yes, it has no grill, i'll be getting one soon, along with a front signal light, a black lip, and jdm fogs.

a friend of mine said the f23 block handles boost quite nicely, and can have an h22 head swapped onto it. i can get a head VERY cheap, has anyone heard of this being done? the mechanic who swapped this car and drove it daily before putting it up for sale at the lot he works at said it can be done as well. i'll be googling that tonight either way to be sure.

my goals are to get coil overs, new tires and rims, then try and get it in the 200's with hp. it's gonna be my daily for as far ahead as i can see, so i'm sure bolt ons will get me over 200. the h22 head would just be awesome if it can be done, because i can have it done very cheap.

oh, and thanks for the warm welcome, haha. i'll be here VERY frequently, sifting through everything i'm sure.

Looks like that is a car with a ton of potential.

That's crazy to find something like that at a used lot.

It's pretty much a Honda salvage/repair shop/car lot. Hondas as far as you can see, and they know their stuff too. There are other accords, civics, and preludes that are just as nice as this car there as well, and spare parts galore.
