ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Sure, it's doable. But it's not going to be worth your time and effort. The main thing that's going to disappoint you is the light output is going to be terrible.

Well I suppose it depends on what your ultimate goal is. If u want them for light output then like dude said I think u will be disappointed. But if u want them for a more superficial reason then I think u could pull if off. Since u have the projectors for the lows already then u could go ahead and install the es fogs in the highbeam. Then like I said already, u could probably drive around with them on with the headlight and it would look kind of nice. It would be purely cosmetic obviously, just for the looks really. I figure that most people that install foglights on their cars don't do it for the extra light output, they do it for the looks. Your case would be no different. IDK, I say do it and see how it turns out.

i wasnt really looking for light output i already figured that it will be shitty i bought bixenon projectors so i have high and low in one projector just trying to find something to fill the high beam spot but you are probably right it is a waste but i was doing this to do something different and be orginal im doing it for looks
Do you think it will look good???

If you're going to go through all this trouble than just do it right

Why waste your time putting in shit into your headlights when you could spend the same time actually making them better?

essentially you are trying to make a city light similar to how the lexus headlights of the early 90s are.

i like the idea of the yellow city light as long as they are in the high beam housing.

put the morimoto mini's in the low beam housing so your projector produces a wider beam pattern

well heres what has happened idk im beginning to wonder how this turns out im going to raise the fog housing up so it doesnt sit so low also i dont think i will be doing this to my headlights i have an extra headlight for this project but heres how it sits.....

ALSO to clear things up this is not for more light output this is for looks only!!!

i think it would look good if there were some shrouds to cover both projectors

plus the fog light does not look to low, at least in that picture. technically the fog light should be at the lowest position on a vehicle so it does not create glare back at you( but like you said this is not for output but for looks)

CB7 R3eason, dont listen to all these people who tell you no. This seems like a very good, original idea, and im pretty sure it will look great. Youre already getting amazing output from the mini projectors, and it wouldnt hurt to pull this off to make it unique.

Im going to keep a close eye on this thread and am looking forward to the final outcome. Just one more thing- Why do yall say that the light output will be horrible? arent fogs supposed to be really strong?
