Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    New Coupe from the land of the long white cloud

    Hey yall just stumpled across this site which was pretty mint given that I just picked up a CB coupe.

    Being from New Zealand we are RHD and the Cb coupe was never sold as a new car here however there are a handfull of imports floating around.....not many having said that.

    Mine has been fitted with an F22b from a prelude but long term ill be looking to swap that out for an H22A and five speed.
    The CB sedan are like belly buttons round here, everyone has one so the bulk of parts are able to be souced local but lord help me if I ever need a quarter glass !!

    Anyway the names Greg, or as people know me down here im either Hater or more commonly know as DrRubber on NZHondas

    anyway couple quick shots of the beast, there is alot to do on it but I have time and given its a rare chassis here its well worthwhile.

    So future plans are as mentioned H22a and slam that shiz on 17x9's round 30p should look pretty sweet....oh and fresh paint of course.

    anyway ima take a look around the site so I'll leave you with these and post progress as it slowly happens.

          Not if they never sold the coupe new in NZ. I am curious, do you guys get more JDM or EDM rides down there? I had figured more JDM, since it's closer.

            I never understood that. They dont even get the CG coupes. I feel so bad. They're missing out on so much.

                Ive been doing some little bits inside the car replacing heater vents and the like that were missing and/or broken.

                Aside from that found some other wheels that tidy it up for the time being and fitted some suspension that happened to be lying round at a mates place

                I cant really bring the front down any more so will have to raise the rear 10mm (thats almost half an inch yanks :P ) At present the engine/front x-member/exaust and gearbox are around 65mm from the ground which given the state of our roads is near undrivable.

                So I need to work out a way to lift the engine etc so I dont have to carry a spare sump and four litres of oil round with me !!!

                We mainly get Japanese cars here not euro but I belive due to current exchange rates English cars are slowly starting to surface here more often.

                Unfortunatly our import laws are tightening all the time so we dont get as much JDM goodness as we did a decade or so back. Yea the headlights are glass.....stoked with that, honda plastic lights are lame.

                anyway....pics








                Bash plate is on the cards very soon !!! , anyone got any engine raising tricks ??

                        Oh and everything is RHD here We still drive on the left side of the road see.
                        Only cars here really that are LHD are US imports of special intrest now (ie: old muscle cars etc)
