ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Bought a Wagon while CB7Tuner was down!!

First of all, I'm so happy that CB7Tuner is back!!

I had to unfortunately sell my 91 CB7 Coupe after doing a lot of work on it. Was the favorite car I ever had and used CB7Tuner's search function a lot!

    The day she got sold

Now for the new car. This is my 4th Accord and 3rd CB. So I have owned a CB7 sedan, coupe and now this wagon . Totally love it. Paid for what it's worth, has a lot of stuff to be done.

    1992 CB9
    Mileage: 200,275 miles
Transsmission: Auto (One thing I absolutely hate about it)

    When I first got her:

I didn't have any exhaust other than headers, 1/2 flex pipe and muffler. Can kinda see where it's broken. Sounded like a helicopter!

Super dirty. I mean it stinks inside. And the rear door only has one retainer.

Has the typical Honda Rot too.

Oh and it has this! I haven't seen these in our cars before

What I have done so far:

Temporary fixed the damaged hood and grill. Hood didn't latch and the the pass. side headlight is in place with a tape.

    before:

    after:

Hoood latches, but, is not straight.

After fixing the hood, the exhaust, new tires and some quick interior cleaning and wash. I always liked the CB9 hubcaps!

    Future plans:
*It has oil inside spark plugs. So I'm going to follow the DIY and replace the tube seals and VC gasket.
    *Steam clean the interior
    *fix the crooked looking hood
*DIY transsmission fluid change (I'm kinda doubtful about this as it has high miles
    *CD7/ CD5/ legend lip
    *eventually fix the rust

Previous owner has a gift for bodywork. I'd say leave it like that

Nice work on cleaning it. I love seeing how much more valuable the car loks after its vacuumed and shit.

Thanks. I have seen how you have fixed your car's rust, excellent job !
Haha, yeah, he used fiberglass + bondo and, it shows the effort and talent
I will leave it like that for the winter.

I am going to clean it better and get it waxed before the winter. It was suprising to see how the body and paint looked after the wash.

I'd like to see behind the rear bumper. If the cars rusted ALL the way down the wheel well, the rear is pretty much down. The paint looks nice though.
