First off i want to give most of the credit to my good friend Raul Rodriiguez for comin up with the idea for this. So heres the story...couple days ago i was cleaning the garage with plans on putting some extra parts on craigslist when i came across an old bumper that i had saved from my integra. (Before my sedan cb7 or even my coupe cb7 i was the proud owner of a 91 Acura Integra gs that i loved until i blew it up... ) i didnt think twice about it but my friend said "hey...you should try to fit this on your cb7" we both laughed at first but suddenly found ourselves comparing and eventually taking my car apart just to see if it might work...and it did! With very little modification i was able to mount this bumper on my cb7. Heres what you gotta do...(i apologize that i didnt take step by step pictures but i was too excited during the whole thing that i forgot.)
1.)First and most crucial thing for fitment is to cut off the flap on the integra bumper that sits between the headlights. Cut it off even with the rest of the bumper as straight as possible. i used a hand saw with a metal cutting blade. and smoothed it down with a file.
2.) Alot of you may not like this but...gotta lose the accord bumper support. unfortunately it does not allow the integra bumper to fall into position because it is too wide. Note: i am currently working on cutting my accord bumper support or sourcing an integra support to see if it lines up or will fit with some modification...
3.)Grab a friend because it is a tight fit. i screwed the driver side corner right up into the fender metal. the plastic side bumper bracket just dont make it fit right. Next have a friend push and hold the passenger side in place while you screw in the next screw on the opposite corner. Once it is in place add aditional screws underneath the bumper. Note: once i figure out a bumper support it would be a good idea to secure it to the support as well

After:
As you can see i was also able to fit my front lip on the integra bumper. HOWEVER... i do not recommend it. It took some time, alot of patience, and a truck load of f - bombs to make it work and still has a few gaps in places... Note: i went to the junkyard in search of integra bumper lights with no luck. so i grabbed a set of 90-91 honda civic bumper lights. they are just a little smaller but they work.
All in all i love the way it looks...and having such a significant piece from my integra live on through my cb7 is a pretty cool feeling. so the next time your throwin parts away think twice...you just might find somethin to bring a new life and look to your cb7.
