ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Those wagons are the first wagons that I have seen that were actually sporty. I have always taken a liking to that unique look (very rare for wagons to look sporty).

You have a really good unmolested original car there.

Just an advise, concentrate on repairs and then maintenance and external paint (incl dents) first before the mods (engine, suspension etc). Having a good looking car to the eye (even with orig engine) and touch (with smooth body and paint work - looking like factory fresh) gives more satisfaction than a car that has mods but with looks that will be put to shame by a restored 1968 vw bettle.

    Only an advise.

    Keep it clean

It's becoming really hard to find here in Australia too. I felt so bad seeing an Aerodeck in the JY. It had no problems other than fading paint, no accidents and complete with rear blind cover. The best thing was... get this it was JDM.

I felt so bad tearing in to it (when i would have wanted it back on the road, with me buying it or another CB enthusiast restoring it). But it was in the JY and i couldnt afford to buy it all so i had to hack into all the JDM goodies that was there. It was my first love hate JY gold find. For the record i hacked:

    both one piece headlights
    Front bumper bar and reinforcement
    Front fog lights
    Golden eagle badges
    Climate control and sensor
    Centre Console
    Airbag
    Visors (with light)
JDM Grill (the H emblem is like the series 1 but is embossed like the series 2)
JDM OEM Floor Matts (with Accord embroidery) etc

It was a great find but broke my heart to not have the whole thing or have it restored. But i had no choice it was to be wrecked.
dood i apreciate the love for betty, yeah shes getting the works some day..as for now i have a few goodies waiting to be recieved and installed, but all honestly my money is very tight right now ill make it happen some way and some how but yeah the muffler is there because i had that true cat back sitting in my room for a little over 3 years,so unlike keeping the midpipe-missing resonator noise i went ahead and installed it,the itr wheels came off my cd7 i had before, and the suspension is the skunk2 lowering springs 2.5 inch drop all around.i want to keep it as an sleeper type deal, notting too flashy, but i dont want it to look like a soccer mom wagon hahaha,i like your ideas because they match with what i have in mind for it..but only time (and the economy) can tell how long will it take betty to be at the tip of the very best...thanks alot dood!
