ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

CB7 V6 Swap from someone who did it.

    Hey Guys,

I've been reading the thread on the V6 Swap...I am the owner of the White CB7 with the V6. I wanted to post in the official thread but i'm not allowed Because I'm new.

If you have any questions I'd be more than happy to help. a lot of the stuff is custom. I used the EG Hasport mouints but had to make custom brackets to attach it to the chassis. I used custom made axels, custom downpipes, and full custom exhaust. The wiring is all custom. We customized a AEM EMS Stand-alone unit to handle the 6 cylinders. The whole motor/Tranny/shifter box and shifter cables are from a 2005 TL. I customized a spacer to fit a cable throttle body on and remove the drive-by-wire.

Here is my official swap list:

    Engine Upgrades
    J32A3 engine swap
    AEM EMS Stand-Alone ECU
Hasport engine mounts with custom brackets
    Canton Racing Fuel Filter
    Canton Racing Powersteering reservoir
    Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator
    B&M Fuel Pressure Gauge
    Russell stainless steel lines
    Russell aluminum fittings
    Mishimoto Aluminum Radiator
    Mishimoto Radiator Fan 12”
    B&M Powersteering cooler
    Walboro 255 Fuel Pump
    Password:JDM Oil Cap
    OD reservoir covers
    Greddy Oil Block Adaptor
    Custom Short Ram intake
Custom downpipes and exhaust (Rawtek Exhaust)
    Custom painted motor
    Custom Axels
    Custom Clutch lines
    Custom fitted throttle body MDX
Custom Fitted Acura TL 6spd Shifter box
    Cutom SS Fuel Lines
    Custom SS Powersteering lines

I have no working A/C. the pump is still on the motor. I do have working powersteering tho. as for the cost, I went a bit overboard with all the Stainless Steel hoses and stuff but you can cut down costs a bit but really not much. I would say that it costs less than 10k but not by much

I forgot, I also needed to buy a signal convertor from Dakota Digital to make my cluster work.
