ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Wire Tucked Driver's Side

Spent most of the day today doing a driver's side wire tuck. I didn't do this the easy way either. No cut corners on this project. I soldered and shrinkwrapped every connection, then used electrical tape over each joint for good measure. Then all harnesses were electrical taped and then covered with conduit, then taped again. IMO the only way to do this.

Here are some pics of what I did. Sorry I don't have any from the beginning.

    not bad

Nice job, I want to do a small tuck, but refuse to extend wires and such, even tho most tucks they don't lengthen the wire.

Thanks Yeah, it's not all that hard, just time consuming.

Thanks my friend. I have almost no experience with electronics and all that stuff and that was pretty easy for me.

It took me 6 hours, but 2 of those hours were trying to figure out why my car wouldn't start afterwards... Turns out the resistor box was plugged into the wrong connection

Well I'm going to wire tuck both sides, relocate the fuse box and battery to the trunk, and probably delete A/C since it doesn't work anyways. We'll see.

Haha well I have a whole '91 Acura Legend for a parts car here so I'm not worried about that

Yep, I'm gonna give the bay a deep cleaning when I'm done my other engine projects haha.

Probably pulling and rebuilding the motor this summer too so the engine and everything else under the hood will be mint

Good job..I'm glad you did the drivers side first because that was the side with the most wire soldering....the passenger side is a cake walk....

I did mine while I was doing my engine rebuild
