ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

Auto rig shoot with 2 cars

Ok, so work go super slow, and i had the day off on a weekday. I decided to go out by the lake (it has open parking lot all day) and shoot with my auto rig.

My brother in law tagged along as he worked later in the afternoon so it allowed me to shoot 2 cars.

Everything went well, until i decided to extend the poles. Thats when i found out, i left my ratcheting 13mm at home (needed to release the clamp of the boom poles to the suction cups)

So taking note that i couldn't extend the poles out far enough, i wasn't able to capture the whole vehicle as the camera was too close.

I decided to edit the pictures with a vintage look because i forgot my fast memory card at home and didn't shoot in raw mode. Had to edit the Jpeg only so there were distortions i attempted to hide using vintage.

    Enough talk and pictures!

The setup of the boom pole on the car.

    The rolling shot!

better deletion of the rig setup, along with some vignetting

This is when i noticed i forgot to bring my 13mm ratcheting wrench

And of course, my post wouldn't belong here if it didn't contain a CB7!

Yes, that would be me in my CB7 (yeah, i know, im too big in the car)

I just noticed i cant make out the window visors from the vintage shots, lol

The 2 cars together (and ieft my imperfections for everyone to see, that i dont have a really clean CB7, my clear coat is chipping)

    From the rear!

The final shot of the day!

Let me know if you like them, good or bad comments are welcome so i know where my weak point is and can work on it for future shoots.

Boom poles, since i didnt build or buy this rig, i dont know where most of the stuff came from, but im sure the poles came from Home Depot.

Dull? Its the vintage look, and plus, pictures were way too bright in original form, had to make it darker, otherwise the sky would just be white.

I wanted to take more of the accord, but sadly, i forgot to bring my ratcheting wrench and could not release the clamp for the boom pole from the suction cup. So however it was set up, i had to shoot it like that. I was about a good 30-40 miles away from home, and didnt want to drive all the way home just for a tool so i shot it as is.

the composure on some of the pics is great.

post-processing on most of the pics is a bit too much.

                    nice cars!!!

On those pics you said PP is too much, its HDR composed, then vintage.

The HDR in photomatix caused the halo effect, which i didnt like either, but hey, trial and error.

We just use topless jeeps and hang out the side of them where the doors should be

Thats everyones way of rolling shots, but im not fond of how those turns out.

And auto rig should cost too much, its just that it doesnt come as a complete kit and you gotta buy everything piece by piece.

I got the suction cup, extended trigger, and boom poles for shooting a wedding, i bought the clamps at the end to attach a camera.

Poles were from Home Depot, suction cups, you gotta search for them online. Or check Boot's.
