Ok, so work go super slow, and i had the day off on a weekday. I decided to go out by the lake (it has open parking lot all day) and shoot with my auto rig.
My brother in law tagged along as he worked later in the afternoon so it allowed me to shoot 2 cars.
Everything went well, until i decided to extend the poles. Thats when i found out, i left my ratcheting 13mm at home (needed to release the clamp of the boom poles to the suction cups)
So taking note that i couldn't extend the poles out far enough, i wasn't able to capture the whole vehicle as the camera was too close.
I decided to edit the pictures with a vintage look because i forgot my fast memory card at home and didn't shoot in raw mode. Had to edit the Jpeg only so there were distortions i attempted to hide using vintage.
Enough talk and pictures!
The setup of the boom pole on the car.
The rolling shot!
better deletion of the rig setup, along with some vignetting
This is when i noticed i forgot to bring my 13mm ratcheting wrench
And of course, my post wouldn't belong here if it didn't contain a CB7!
Yes, that would be me in my CB7 (yeah, i know, im too big in the car)
I just noticed i cant make out the window visors from the vintage shots, lol
The 2 cars together (and ieft my imperfections for everyone to see, that i dont have a really clean CB7, my clear coat is chipping)
From the rear!
The final shot of the day!
Let me know if you like them, good or bad comments are welcome so i know where my weak point is and can work on it for future shoots.
