ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    My Introduction to CB7

    Hello All,

My first post to this forum. My name is Dieter, and i am no stranger to Honda's, i am now on my 28th one, with my latest being a 1990 Accord EX sedan....being my 3rd Accord
My last Accord was a 1992 Accord EX 5sp wagon running a dohc jdm spec F22B, it was an awesome ride. I sold it a couple years ago to a good friend who needed a car, and missed it ever since!

ok, enough rambling, lol So yesterday i picked up my latest project. As mentioned, a 1990 EX sedan. Cost $1000 It was was of those, i bought it off the original owner who was an 87 year old lady deals....and "clean" I'm in Canada so it has 176 kilometers, which is only about 108 thousand miles.

Car came with full service history from the Honda dealer since new. I was fortunate the car came with a full new exhaust, windshield, brakes, various suspension parts, and a fresh oil change It also has a car starter, and an upgraded Pioneer CD player

Here are the day 1 pictures before i get at her.....

Thanks! First plans are to go over the car carefully and see what parts i think need replacing/upgrading to satisfy my liking. In a month or so, it will be going to a body shop to get the passenger side rear quarter worked on, it has the typical rust there, and i want to take care of it soon.

I for sure will be changing out the wheels/tires and the steering wheel. Factory speakers are old, i replace them too.

I have a number of cars, all being standard. I think i'll leave this one auto since it has such low mileage and works so well.

                        My manual tranny cars are:
                        - type R powered 89 crx
                        - Type R powered 00 Civic SiR coupe
                        - K20 RSX
                        - stock 99 Acura EL
                        - 90 Toyota 1/2 ton

Yeah, lol I am good on manual shift cars already

These are the last pics i will take before i get started. I haven't even cleaned it yet, lol

The interior is pretty clean, the carpets are like new, so is the plastics on the interior, not scratched up. The drivers seats does have some wear on the side bolster, i will look into possibly getting a better one

Today i was lucky when i hit up the picknpull. Found a very complete 94 Acura Vigor and though, yup, brake upgrade!

Got a complete set of front calipers, T23 brackets, and next to new pads. I stopped by Honda and picked up a new set of Accord wagon rotors. Total cost $160
