tails r clean, plzzz sandm bondo, sand again and primer that rust asap on the trunk. u can do it in cold weather, ive done it lol.

thanks for the comments on the tails, they are dark though. At night, not a problem when I hit the directionals, but during the day, you can barely see them. I'm tempted to put the other stock set I have back in, since these have a leak that I discovered after painting them on the driver's side and I don't feel like dealing with sealing them. The other ones I know have no issues.

With those, I think I may either lightly tint the whole lense with VHT, or sell them and hunt for some clears. Do the red/clr DIY I've seen it, it's FTW!

Hmm Advance auto parts is carrying VHT. Have they always and I just haven't noticed? I might have to pick some up

lol theres already a thread to do this to your car... ill send u the link in a couple mins... mine arnt really like that... i used photobucket to paint them like that to see what it would look like if i actually painted them..

yeah I found the DIY thread a while back, and printed it out lmao. I'll hopefully get to it soon, sick of looking at those stock pods all wannabe shiny like...

lol i did a set for my other cb i had during the summer... and i did the grille and had my 93 ex stockies diped in chrome... shit looked sweet but i never put the headlights in because i liked the way my eyebrows looked... sry to keep adding pics to your thread... but i wanna show u what im talking about..

that looks like my old 92 lx sedan. Is that painted eyebrows? i tried doing that, didn't work

yea they are painted... my other cars had it also... its kinda a signiture for my cb's, but how did you try it? i use electrical tape to line up the part i want to paint for the eyelid shape and then tape up everything else i dont want to paint... spray it, let it sit for 10 mins, spray it again, let it sit, spray it, let it sit, then switch to clear, and put 2 coats of clear on over the 3 coats of paint, but the problem ima have with this one is the headlight is a little outa wack on the drivers side... droops down some... when we have our meet if u want ill do it for you then... and if u dont like the way it comes out, it scraps off easy using a flat razor blade..

I know. Who can we all complain to? to make some nice looking tails for the 92-93. Does anyone know why the red/clears were only designed for the 90-91 CB?

I love the way they look, I left the reverse light as it is. However...during the day when I hit the flashers, you can barely see them come on. It sucks that I did them too dark. Oh well I'm going to leave them in for a while still and just see how long I can go without getting pulled over!?
