ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    My first Cb7

    Hello everyone,
my name is Matt and this is my first Honda that I have owned. I absolutely love how it drives and most importantly how it sounds. I love the deep tone it's got to it. It's got a 4-2-1 header, short ram intake, full cat back exhuast system, gutted cat, pioneer cd player and pioneer speakers. Well here are some pictures of it, its nothing to special.

Hopefully the picture everyones been waiting for...

First off, welcome to the site! Looks like you have a clean start! (minimal rust, no body damage, short ram, headers etc..) There is a lot of info for you on this site that will help you get to where you want to be with your CB! What part of Illinois are you from?? Im up in the Chi-town area. Are you close??

As far as any future plans go, I do have a couple, like aftermarket mirrors (not to be a ricer, but there cheaper than the new stock ones and I have miss matched mirrors), then I'm thinking ebay projector lights (once again, not trying to be rice, just cheaper than JDM projector lights, but don't look as goodd). Then Body work. I'm taking it to the local track this weekend to get a idea of what it runs.

It's a 1990 that has been well taken care of by one of my friends who also did all the mods to it.

              Thank you

p.s. No I'm not that close to chicago, about 2 hours away actually. I'm in the qaud cities. If your ever down here let me know.

Welcome to cb7tuner. Even if you do get those ebay lights you can always get the parts to do a retrofit on them. Just search around on here. There's tons of info on pretty much everything you could want to do to your car and if not then there's someone that can help with it.

Yeah, I have read a little bit about retrofiting them. Not to sure where to find information about them. But it seem's interesting. I don't plan on getting any ugly ass euro tail lights or anything just plan on getting some smoked tail. So yeah, plans changed for this weekend considering I have wrecked my Mustang.

Yes I did consider putting a turbo on it, however I don't feel like installing forgde pistons and stuff like that. How much psi does the stock internals hold up. How well do these stock blocks work with a turbo...
