ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

That picture got me confused for a minute! It looks almost the same as the one I have but the edges on that one are more squared than mine!

Well actually, the car I got the spoiler off of was a '93 coupe... I think it may have been an SE. This may be the reason. It's OEM but it's probably a variation from the normal sedan spoilers.

EDIT: Yes it was a SE. It had leather seats....

Well, I finally got around to doing a timing belt/water pump job on the Accord with my friend Ty. BTW, thanks for the help man! Here are a few pics of the progress:

                  Nice one Ty... :giggle:

You can see why I'm doing this project...

Here's part of the problem.. the gasket was installed improperly causing a gap at the bottom of the coolant transfer pipe going to the back of the water pump

Ok... Update: I finished the timing belt water pump job today and put it all back together. It ran well without the alternator and power steering belt, but once the belts were on, it squealed terribly. The belts were not too loose- or too tight for that matter so i think I may have somehow damaged the alternator to where it ceased up somehow causing drag on the belt... I will investigate more in the morning.

I also investigated the problem with the loss of power at startup... Apparently it was the main relay. i popped the relay out and examined it and found that one of the solder joints was loose. My dad resoldered all the joints just in case so that problem should be taken care of.

I also found that both of the coolant temperature sensors were broken so they both need replacing.

I searched and found that the loss of pressure in the brakes is caused by a faulty seal in the master cylinder so I need to grab a new one of those as well along with changing at least the front pads. So hopefully I won't need to use my emergency brake to stop the car anymore lol.

                        Update time!!!!
Turns out that the belt squeal was just a loose belt. I thought it was tight, but apparently not tight enough. So the TB/WP job is officially done :woot: Today I dove into the whole brake problem. I went to the parts store and picked up a master cylinder and swapped that out today. I need to bleed the brakes tomorrow. I have yet to try the brakes out since the cooling system is all apart.

I painted the valve cover today... Looks good i will post pictures once I can figure out why my laptop crashed.

I took one headlight and blackhoused it. It looks really good. I will post pics soon. I'll do the other tomorrow. And I am most likely going to be ambering out the corner lights.

I can't wait 'till this thing is road worthy!!!! It's gonna be great!
