-_- When you cut the springs, there are bumpstops around the shaft of the damper, did you leave them, take them off, cut them in half?

I left them.

x2, thats bad. It crumpled the corner too far. Probly lightened the blow pretty good, but yea, its not exactly worth fixing.

its definately getting fixed unless they say its toatled. guy has like three cars to fix now dumbass probaly trying to text or something

from my experiance here about the way it will work , his adjuster will come out and inspect the car , I am assuming the car is paid for, so once he does his reasearch he will tell you weather they will total it out or give you a check for the cost of repair (if it's not over the total value of the car on the day of inspection , now you dont have to give them them the car you can buy it back from them fix it your self and get the car fixed ,inspected(check you state/local laws on this ) I know in ohio you can buy the car back from the insurance they will issue you the car on bill of sale then fix the car , have it inspected at the highway patrol if it clears inspection you can get a salvage title .

so who all thinks my car is toatled? im waiting to hear from his insurance. i got the car from a buy here and pay here lot so the car is not paid for. so my question is this if they say the car is toatled what will happen they will pay off the car for what i owe on it and ill be up the creek without a paddle or what?
