ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    New Ricer

Hey everyone. Just got a CB7 for cheap. I'm talking scrap metal pricing and the best part is that it runs perfect, but with a decent amount of rust. I can't complain though for a daily driver for how cheap it was.

Runs like new with 211K miles. 5spd tranny shifts perfect. Great condition interior. I'm already in love. I'll be looking here for some info on the car. Looking to keep it a beater, but possibly some small stuff.

The first car I drove regularly was my dads 02 Accord 5spd with a F23a1. My current car is a 00 AP1 S2000 with a 70 flywheel shot of nitrous.

I've been looking and looking for a cheap Honda daily driver for a while. Everything I looked at was way overpriced and all of a sudden this popped up. I liked this style so I figured I'd give it a try. Parts are so cheap for this car compared to the s2000 its ridiculous. If something major happens, I can part it out or sell it to a junkyard and get my money back.

If I do anything it'll be modest mods. I want to keep this alive for a while.

Looks good minus that rust, which is MASSIVE btw. Not bad for a DD.

Good to see another midwest cb7-er. Whereabouts in NE are you?

Tell us about that Mustang in the back, if its yours.

I live in Bennington, Nebraska. Its a couple miles North of Omaha.

The Mustang is a 67 with a 289. The engine was rebuilt a few thousand miles ago with a mild cam and bored a little bit. Auto tranny was rebuilt at the same time. Its a good cruising car, but nothing more than a low 15 second car. Its my mother's.

well...sadly...the cb7 can make some decent power with some modification...so...she won't stay just a slow no-mod dd for long

You can at least make it so when you drive her you won't be TOO slow...compared to that s2000 that is

                        welcome!
