ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Take a breather

Just got on all my air flow upgrades as of today. I installed everything from the header all the way to the muffler and the cold air intake. looks pretty good except for the muffler, i'm not happy with the way it sounds. i'll change it after i put on a bodykit. Still have a long way to go though. radiator and misc. cooling parts are next on the agenda.any suggestions.?.

cold air intake's are the ones with piping all the way through the battery and under the car

the one you installed is a short ram intake , right before the battery
which i find is better anyways

the lil vc breather will do nothing but spit bits of oil , i took mine off

            intake?

u dont have to move the battery go through right behind it. Look at my pics and youll see it (91 custom paint coupe) And i think its better this way , you pull more cooler air than where you intake is.

its also a little more dangerous in the case that he could suck up water and hydro lock the motor with a simple puddle OP: just be careful

an intake can run you anywhere from $40-125 depending on the brand but they all do the same thing as for the instal its pretty easy

                  Intake= maybe 2-5hp

Header back exhaust right now on ebay is at $490 for full exhuast system shipped but if you search or wait for the right moment you mights be able to get deals and piece it together for cheaper..... for an exhaust cat-back is about $112 free shipping right now so figure that with borth mods you can get anywhere from 15-25hp so its not to bad good luck and pm for any more questions

Slowly but surely bro! I only have time to mess around with this project a couple days out the month. I'm doing it all myself for the most part. Hope to have it looking clean like the other cb's on here by the end of the year//

Did you plug that hole up? I still have the hose that runs out of their into my stock air intake, which is a short ram. so the hose is freely hanging and just as you described, it spits bits of oil. Can I block off the line and the engine still run correctly?
