ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

    Hon2984 : 93 Accord Ex 5 speed

Whats up fellow CB7 tuners! I'm new to the site!

I figures I would let you guys check out my Accord.

THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS!

I bought the car about four years ago, with some nasty Z3 fenders on it and a R34 look alike front bumper, the hood has a couple big dents from something previous to my ownership. I bought it with 140,000 miles for 1750$
I had plans to finish the body kit and go from there. I had the half of a kit on there untill I hit a cat at 60mph. I now have a 90/91 front bumper on there which I managed to get off ebay that showed up gold and matched my car!
I now still have the fenders on there but I'm kinda wanting to leave them on there and destroy a couple cars on the street or at the track. I find it will be hilarious because it almost makes the car a little more of a sleeper. Then I will put some stock fenders on later.

I dont really have any pics of the interior. Its maroon, pretty much stock, except for the autozone shift knob. Cheap Pioneer head unit, 1 10" infinty sub, with an mtx 4202 amp, some cheap tweeters mounted on each front door panel, stock door speakers. Everything else is stock.

I did find another body pic.

I also got some parts today. Very Excited!
          My cam is back!

          My new head studs!

Good start. You should get the 93 front bumper and OEM or JDM fenders, I dont like z3 fenders. Good luck. Keep us updated.

Get a OEM honda serivce manual for the 94 accord EX. If your block is F22A4,A6,A1 you will need to plug a coolant jacket, on the exhaust side of the cylinder head. POA ECU's are hard to find.

like i said they were on the car when i bought it. The engine, transmission, suspension, will be done before the body.

I'm pretty sure it does fit with some modification. I attempted to run a P&P'd F23 VTEC head before the F22B1, for some reason i never could get it to run right. It didnt contribute on cylinders 1 & 2 at idle. When I was getting the
F23 head ready to swap on, we were bored at work and decided to do some port work on the manifold. I also didnt have another manifold that would fit.

coolant jacket (F22B1 head swap on 90-93 block).

I've had some people ask me how to go about plugging the coolant jacket on the F22B1 cylinder head, which is neccessary when using a 90-93 F22 block.

Well it is pretty simple, plug it or have it welded. I had mine welded. Only cost 16.50$.

This is a pic of an F23 head which i'm using as a refrence pic. I didnt take a "before" pic. But the coolant jacket is the same.

                          Update

                          whats up fellow CB7 tuners.

I have got some work done!

I recently repainted my spare valve cover wrinkle red!

The new head is on, as well as the cam and everything else!
                          ARP Head Studs installed

A pic of the clay after the piston to valve clearance test.

I need to do an ABS delete as you can tell. What a horror story! I'm planning on relocating the battery as well to free up some room!

I had a Ractive carbon fiber intake for a DC2 Integra GSR laying around and attempted to use it. After I cut a little bit off it worked nicely!

I got to test drive it today! It is definatly alot stronger. I cant wait to get to the dyno! Now i get to start looking for a new transmission!
