its not so easy to say....this or that.... it all depends on the colour of your car.
red clears look great on white cars,but on black it dosen't work.

with dark cars i find a little tint on the stock tails is all you need,and it looks great.

lol didn't even see that....but there you go,perfect example....black looks good with a tint, has more of a flow with the rest of the car, not that red/clear looks bad on black,but it just stands out too much.

red/clear looks good on white.

now if your car is brown,that can be a hard colour to work with, but tint would work with brown for sure.
