ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

My DIY Grill - Check it Out!

Alright well after getting tired of looking at the gaping hole in my front end, and having an unusual day off, i took a trip to the jy to find a grill! Unfortunately all they had there was a 9293 grill, my cars a 1990. I said screw it and got it anyways. I'd like to thank the others that posted up DIYs on here, you guys are my inspiration! Here we go!

Here it is all apart and cleaned up

Here's the pieces of gutter guard i picked up at canadian tire, cut to fit.

    All bolted back together

I threw it on the car to see how it looked

I hated it lol, too much bling going on for me. So i decided to paint the grill inserts! Back together again!

I'm somewhat of a perfectionist. I hated it again, too much plastic going on behind it. So i cut out the vertical plastic support bar things, leaving the middle one intact for strength. I sanded down the supports really quickly.

By now it's dark out, but i snapped a pic for the hell of it. Yea i know it's a really terrible pic.

I'll get some better ones tomorrow! Any questions, suggestions, useful criticism welcome!

@ typeg yea i know, figured that out when i mounted the grill

Thanks for the positive comments. I figured i wasn't the first, and i know i won't be the last, i can only post in the beginner section, and saw a couple posts about grills recently.

I'm debating whether to paint the whole thing black except the honda badge.
maybe i could do the mesh orange? i'll post some pics tomorrow, i haven't even had a chance to see what it really looks like in the light

Yeah u should go head and try to find a 90-91 grille and do the same shizz to it. They look better than the 92-93 grille plus since your car is a 90-91 it'll fit perfectly. And oh yeah, like dude said fix yo bumper.
