ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

How much was it to sleeve your block? What sleeves did you use? $1000 is the best price I've found for quality. I could probably get it much cheaper myself, but we're talking in general here. The average person would spend about $5000 on a bottom end build, especially if it's with a stroker kit.

Turbo is cool, but I'm not a huge fan of big torque to the front wheels. My H22 is going NA. I'm going turbo on my BA, but that's just... well... because. I picked up an engine that was built with turbo in mind, and I'm going that route with it. My GTP is supercharged, and a testament to why I don't like lots of torque to the front wheels.

My next car will be RWD or AWD, and boosted.

Looks like $1500 for sleeving alone. Add a $3000 stroker kit and the cost of shipping everything, and you've topped $5000 already... that's not including all the gaskets, fluids, and other necessary items. Unless I'm missing something.

Mmm the more I see pics of this swap the more I drool...Very nice job indeed

Quick question, and might be a stupid one, but...With the K24 motor mounted on the car, will you be able to mate the K20A-R 6-speed LSD tranny with it?? Just curious

Again, great job on the swap..Definitely one of a kind!

hey scott what kind of pistons are you using? are you going to buy the new Wiseco 5cc Kseries ones?

                            These newly-released K Series pistons give 12.5:1 in the K24 and 11:1 in a sleeved K20.

The valve pockets are extremely deep at .235/.170 and will accommodate 36.5mm intake valves. Built for strength at 316g with .275 top land thickness. As with all Wiseco pistons this set has skirt coating, offset pins, XX rings and brushed dome.

Awesome job man. i think you should try something even better, like say... AWD CB7? I have seen an AWD Integra before. Sick as hell to see a FWD Acura doing RWD donuts in a parking lot

                                Nice to see you back...

If I were staying all motor, that would probably be a good "off the shelf" choice.
