ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

93 EX pics! Still working on her =)

First off, I want everyone to know that I bought this car from my friend. He's done most of the work on the car, including the swap. I don't want to come off like I did this all myself, but I'm doing some work on it, going to restore it as best as I can. Already done some body work, fixing things, repaints, etc.

The AZ sun is murder on the clear coat as you can see. Plus, old drivers are murder on glass headlamps (as you can see in the pic.. lol).

Here's some info on the mods done:

    H22A swap
    5 speed manual
    Centerforce DFX clutch
    DC Sports Header
    12.5lb Centerforce flywheel
    Eibach Pro Kit 1.8" drop
Suspension Techniques (front upper and lower & rear lower) sway bars
    KYB AGX Struts
2.5" Header-back exhaust (Magnaflow with high flow cat)
    24" Resonator
    Pontiac Trans-Am exhaust tip
    17" Enkei Racing Rims
    Cheap ass tires! lol

I'm seriously going to restore this car gradually.

EDIT: Sometime I'll get a MR thread.

          I'm retarded - I put 93 when it's a 92. I guess after looking for 92-93 parts all week I'm forgetting what is what.

Anyway, I spent the last few days cleaning up my car, and I ended up stripping the valve cover and repainting it. I also painted the blue AEM intake pipe. Yay.

Here's a pic of the OEM front turn signals that I modified:

And here's the painted valve cover (seattle silver and textured black SP cover) with the AEM pipe (also painted textured black). They were both blue, yeck!

I also painted the chrome portion of the grill body color. It's hard to see in the pics, but I wanted something different. I may end up adding some amber into the lights on the bumper (what are the called again? Duh..)

Now if I can figure out how to paint the window trim without removing it.. lol

I'm not used to posting audio info, but I've got an Alpine cd/mp3/ipod setup. I have an 80gb Ipod about half full.

Full 6 speaker MB Quart setup, 2 being tweeters in the doors. Right now I'm using a POS Bazooka bass tube, and a Visonik 2 channel amp to power my speakers. I blew my PPi amp (1500 watts) and didn't have good subs to put in my box, so I have this setup for the time being.

Tried taking some pics and it's rediculous.. lol I don't have a good jack right now, or a set of stands to lift it up on. Lost my good jack when I sold my Durango.

I think he was telling you that's the noise you have under the firewall.

The car looks pretty sweet. Keep us updated as you go along.

Ok here's more pics. Changed/amber'd corners and bumper turn signals, blackhoused headlights. They are HIDs:

I'll look for some more, hoping to do some tidying up the engine bay soon.

I hate to bug people, but, how did you crack open the ome turn signals? I tried the oven, looks like mine are sealed really well with glue or something and the heat didn't phase them. sorry for hijacking.......I'm just jealous of your turn signals!

                        NO worries!

I took a blade screwdriver and carefully pried it open, just a little. Then I moved down a half inch or so, and repeated until it came off. It's kind of brittle glue, so as long as you dont torque on the lens it won't break.

I dont have any right now, dont think. They're brighter than the cheap stuff but not as bright as factory HIDs.
