ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

See wut $250 and a Pepsi gets you

Wuz up all, I'm not really new to the site, I've been look'n around for a while now. I never had to post anything cause this site is GREAT, all the question I've had were already asked and answered. But anyway, here's the deal. I bought this 90 EX Coupe from a friend that owns a tow company for $250 and a 20oz. Pepsi He had it sit'n out back of his shop for I don't know how long, maybe 6, 7 months or so, maybe a year,I don't know. It wasn't run'n tho, he said all it needed was a fuel pump (yeah right ) Needs alot more than just that but I got it anyway. Figured with alot of TLC (and money) it would be a great project\ daily driver. Tell me wut you think

For sure, as a matter of fact, took a trip to the junk yard about a week ago and found a donor and had them strip it bare. For $400 I got a "COMPLETE" 5 speed swap (Manual speedo and console included), 92/93 sedan trunk, 92/93 front/rear bumpers and side moldings and a few other goodies. All in all, I say that was a good trip but I'ma save the 5 speed stuff for when I kill the f22 (thats if it really still runs ) and do a H22 swap. Hell, I only spent $250 on the car, I guess I can spend out on a new engine

No, yours looks great, no acid-washed paint, plus it runs lol 2 big ups over mine Got a ant. but its to late bout the water in the trunk, the spare tire well is done, trashed but thats one of the goodies I got from the jy. I got the spare tire well out the donor of the 5 speed swap, had it cut out. Cut mine out and weld the donor in

Thanx, I like the Green to, once everything done and said gonna repaint it same color. As for how soon I do the swap, that really depends on the original motor in there now I really wanna get it running and get some use out it first Sleeper...... I think it slept long enough

Just to maybe save you the time there are 2 things I want you to look into first ...

                        1) Main Relay --Commonly Diagnosed as Fuel Pump -Even by mechanics
                        2) Igniter -- also commonly Diagnosed as Fuel Problems or Dizzy Problems

Both are not too expensive and relatively easy to fix without/before dropping the tank and changing pumps ..... let me know if this helps

Other than that you stole that car considering it doesnt have huge holes in the rear quarters ....

Thanx man 4real, I thought about the Main Relay but not the Igniter. But to tell you the truth, the way they told me it needed a fuel pump, i think it needs one cause there isnt one in there to start wit. Knowing the guy I got the car from (and I know him pretty well) He probly took it to fix another car. I wont find out til I go on vacation from work and get the time to start working on this thing. One more week and its go time
