Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Amp I got for Christmas...keep it?






    So thats the amp I got for christmas what do y'all think keep it or get a new one. Says peak power is 400 rms. I have the Memphis 10 as shown which is brand new I got from a friend. I don't want anything to blow the car apart like I had before. So I just wanna know if y'all think this amp will be good enough or should I get a diff one....thanks

      That amp should be fine, but just so you know, I just got that exact same Memphis 10 installed in my car a few weeks ago, with a 600 watt amp and its fine. So you can go higher if you want.
      There are no black and white suspension answers!!!!!!!!!!!

            id keep the amp and the sub... kicker makes some good amps..

            im running a KX120 on a bostwick DCL d class 15 That is rated for 2000watts. and the amp is rated for 120 watts.

            Beats down for a dinky amp...

                  kicker amps are one of the best amps you can get .. i'd keep it good present ..

                      Keep that amp. It should work pretty good with those speakers. Kickers are usually underated anyway. Besides you could always upgrade to more power at a later date.

                        Keep it. It is a gift, which means someone thought of you enough to get it for you. Growing up under a real OG (Original Grandma'), the acceptance and use of a gift shows appreciation. Use in good health.

                              the amp was free why not keep it? if you dont wanna use it for your sub and wanna go bigger then use it for your deck or door speakers
