WHats the best subs out there

Listen to sleepR, he knows what hes talking about. I agree with him and birdman. Any Fi subs are going to be perfect. I had 3 10' Kicker CVRs in the back of my cb and it was warping all of my panels. We ended up putting my 3 10s on top of my buddys 3 12' CVRS and we are now state record holders for our class. Fi's are going to be alot more expensive but even CVRs are cheap and good quality. IMO I would not recommend the L7 or L5s. they are loud but not very good in quality. Heres a video of the Fis

JLs are sloppy as all hell, RE is a great brand, i have alpines and i love the way the sound, it fits my music needs perfectly.

also what you need to consider is are u beefing up hte rest of your system?

what kinda music do u listen to most of the time?

you need to decide if you want ported or sealed enclosure because that will greatly effect which sub you should get, certain subs work better on sealed and some are better on ported/slotted.

many of the brands listed are crap, loud cb7 and I are both installers and know our shit, there are some others around the site i cantthink of right now also.. you can ask us directly so you dont get a billion off the wall responses who dont really know shi.

Alpine type R

I'm not audio expert but I've heard a lot of good things about Alpine Type R's. I bought a couple of alpine type R 10's from a friend and they were 2 years old when I bought them, I got them half a year ago and they still work great. These things are said to last really long.

if you are interested in a type r 12 hit me up i have one sitting around...... lol. i think i will be bold enough to say i will get on the mic and go againist any other cb on here. ill do burps but i would prefer a bassrace or bass boxing style comp. just to show the boldness after spl comp turn around have a SQ judge sit in the cars. what exactly are u lookin for in a sub? next what is the price range u have? dont say money is no object and when a $700-1200 sub is mentioned u say thats too much.lets narrow a pissin contest down.

man iwaws at circuit city and i heard the best sounds outta the mtx's and the polk audio's i loved 'em and before that day i was anti-sound system, but if you do it do it right dont let your trunk rattle

Kicker impulse's are hot i got 2 with a 1000 watt hyphonic amp and it feels good.

I have jl dub zero's in 10" and I think they are great sound quality, its really what do you considder good? price, sound quality, performace ect

i have 2 kicker L7 solobarics, to me they are one of the best subs. good sound quality high and low. other brands i like is jl audio W12v2 is a really good sub as well. basicly any competition level subs are great if you have the proper amp to back it up
