Rewiring all the speakers to an Amp, impossible front?

this is so easy. all you gotta do is connect all the neg wires together. and all the pos. behind the dash. then run it to the amp. you dont gotta run wire to the speaker. the wires from the radio, you dont need. (white gray green purple) just tape them up

That method works fine. Hondatuner4267 has it that way, and his cable is all wrapped up. He has had it that way for nearly 1 year now. He helped me do mine and we ran the wire the same way. I let mine unwrapped and I have had no problems with binding or anything. I have had it for 6 months now.

Wow, that looks hard. To go from the fuse box inside the kick panel to that grommet, you must hook it about 90 degree to run through grommet. I see that grommet in my door. From grommet, how do you run the cable into your door? Do you have a complete pic?

or since you ran speaker wire directly to the rear speakers, run the front lines to the ORIGIONAL rear speaker lines that arent used. then at the deck, loop the rear lines with the front lines so that it will act as a complete path from the rear to the front.

i did this in prez's car thats on this site, i love doing it in hondas its even quicker.

This part totally confused me on how the wires are really run? Could you give a diagram or explain in a way of a to b to c, etc...?

In all honesty stock wires are good for a alot of power. It can handle 100watts RMS just fine. So I dont know what the big fuss is about. For the people who are saying the stock wires are bad, Do you actually have experiece with using the stock wires?

I have been sending over 100watts RMS to my front speakers for over a year now and I have NOT ONE single problem.

Remember the stock wire from the rear of the deck only travles around 5 feet to the door speakers, so its barely loosing any resistance.

I am planning however to upgrade my wiring, not because the stockers are bad its because I am forced to. I upgraded my front comps and well it demands atleast 200watts RMS(each side).

In that case, you got some pics of your work? I just want to gather as much info before I do my install this week.

If your amp is mounted in the trunk, could you like run the bigger gauge speaker cable toward the rear of the head unit and tap into the stock speaker wires from there? This would reduce the resistance up to where the stock wires are?

What is the power output of that amp? It doesn't matter what the power handling rating on the speakers is, what matters is how much power your amp is putting out, and you want the RMS number, not the peak number.

My current setup is pushing about 42 watts / channel into the front speakers. I'm running 16 gauge wire from the trunk under the back seat and carpet into the center console, where it connects into the factory speaker wires for the front doors. It's clean, and works just fine. I probably wouldn't try to push much more than about 50 watts through those stock wires, however in all reality, they could likely handle in the neighborhood of 100 watts safely.
