ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

try hitting the reset button on the front of the face, its a pin size hole next to the preset buttons, if that doesnt work, check both fuses for the radio, 1 is under the hood which is a 7.5 back up fuse and the other is in the kick panel.

damn radio still won't turn on , even when i reset the radio with the button on the front.

I'm gonna try doing this one more time, n see what happens

      1-unplug the negative battery.
2-change all the fuses . 7.5 back up radio, kick panel 7.5, 10 on the back of the radio.
3-plug the battery back on .
4- Turn on , and if it don't work. i'm gonna fucking throw this radio off the bridge

      KEnWOOD KDC-516s

p.s. FUNNY THING IS THAT THE DAY BEFORE IT WENT OUT, I FOUND OUT THAT IT HAS THE SOCKET IN THE BACK OF THE RADIO SO I CAN PLUG MY IPOD TO IT. BECAUSE I HATE HAVING TO BURN CD'S, WHY??? WHEN U GOT AN IPOD THAT CAN PLAY ALL YOUR SONGS, NON STOP. DEFENTLY THE I-POD.

I'm telling you dude, I used to install at a reputable shop. I'd never pulled so many of those flip-face Kenwoods out of cars in my life......more than any other deck. They were ALWAYS breaking, and half the time we'd get them back and things are still wrong with them. Broken buttons, the ribbon cables, bad motors, broken displays, blah blah blah.

I'd just upgrade now and save yourself the hassle.

but oh well lol you proably already chucked it off the bridge.

I would consider trying pioneer cause their stuff is cheaper than most other major brands but its still good quality and reliable!
