Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    new deck problems

    i put in my new deck and when i turn it on i cant hear anything, but when i put my stock one in i can hear stuff... ive been wroking on it all day and i cant find a way to make my new deck work. has this ever happend to any1??? any1 know how to fix it??

    what kind of stereo? did you use a wiring harness? if so did you wire it up color for color??? if you wired it color for color and its still not working then i bet the deck is messed up.
    What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

    You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

      It sounds like ur channels are fry'd. thats sucks man, u better get ur money back. same thing happens with amps. sometime if u smell it, it will smell burnt. Also you have it fixed, i'm not sure how much it will cost u or if there is a place around u that does that type of thing. it would have to be a pretty nice deck to go through all that.

          Yo the problem is that you have an SE. You have a bose system so when you installed your new stereo is isnt turning on your factory amplifier. You need an adapter to work with the bose

              if u use the harness behind the deck u dont need an adapter, you need the remote turn on lead connected to the amp turn on lead thats all.

              plus if you have a bose system you need to change out speakers at the same time or it fuks the decck.

                  yeah well im pretty broke and i dont have a job, but yeah uhm i didnt use the power attenna thing, but yeah wen i gut sum money ima change evrything.
