I prefer 12's. They can have good sound quality and good bass without the lag of a 15 or not pushing enough air like 8's or 10's.

well i used to prefer two 12's untill the cops in my town profiled my car and started remembering my car and anytime i had the stereo on they would pull me over so i had to get rid of them(insert tear here)

ouch man move here oak kliff das my hood. you won't get pulled over for too much bass as that'd keep the cops waaay to busy. Get a good 10 in a sealed box it won't move as much air and you can keep it in the car more.

correct me if im wrong but my two 12's shook the crap outa the plate on the wall and I wasn't even in the garage. I had a 10 in a sealed box and it was barely heard outside the car.

IMO having a shit load of bass is just fun sometimes, sounds cool, its not only for showin off

i like having more than one size sub. my cuz has a 12 and i let him have one of my 10s and it sounds sick being able to pick up the differnent frequencies.
when i get my amp back im going to use my 18 for lows asss tones and a 10 for a lil punch.
