ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I love my two 12's.. if i dont feel like too much bass i jsut tune them down to the setting that was set for me by my deck(auto eq by pioneer) but if i want to crank it up, they still can pound.. i think two 12's gives you the best of both worlds.. that is if they are powered and tuned right

wrong, and wrong...you both seem to have misconceptions, but, hey, that is what this "beginner" forum is for, for you to learn something
Originally posted by ACCLUDE9110's seem to be easier to get sound quality out of. The larger the sloppier. Some nice 6x9's could do the trick if they got some power on them and do not distort.
Originally posted by Half-PintI have 2 12s and i have to tell you that if i had to do it agian, i would have gotten 2 10s and a better amp...i like a quicker response than the 12s provide me.
eg.-
8" subwoofer cone..weighs 8 oz. and has a 80 oz magnet structure of 4 inches in diameter...
well a
12" subwoofer sone, that weighs 12 oz. and has a 120 oz magnet of 6 inches will perform more or less exactly the same as the smaller sub, but will extend down lower into the frequency range..something that you want if you listen to rap, hip/hop, or anything else with lower Hz levels..

you should really think about what you want to do more blow your ears off or if you want to race... it all depends if you want to race than one 12 should do it but if you want sound maybe like 3 or 4 10's cb7s have alot of trunk space-The New Accord, Does This Mean I Should Change My Member Name? lol
