ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I love my 2 Rockford P1's they are 12"s and in a sealed box nice amp setup on them as well jus the right amount of bass for me and still room for groceries in tha back as well. as ppl said b4 it depends on what kinda sound u want and the type of music rock & country seem to not play well on subs u kno u got a good system if u can bump rock or country and it not distort. I also added a pair of tweeters and another amp to run them.

I like 2 10s in a ported box.
Because I listen mostly to rock/metal, I need a sub that can pound hard and fast with a clean sound.
When I had my Cadillac Catera, I had a 1500w Clarion amp and hooked it up to a pair of 10" Kenwood Typhoons in a ported box. Fantastic sound. Tight and clean.
However, the stereo shop I bought it from said I was going to blow those subs in no time because we even had the gain turned all the way down and they still pounded like mad. So I upgraded to 2 12" Typhoons. They were a little sloppier, but still sounded good. I had them metered at 143.2db at anSPL competition.

I like the sound of 2 12's in a Subzero enclosure, I used two Fusion Reactors in a Subzero enclosure with a Pheonix Gold TI series 2500 mono block and they wanted to there the sunroof of my Lancer...so yes I will continue to use 12's...LOL..........

i used to like big loud systems but a single 12 (good brand) should do justice...oh and its better like that otherwise your trunk space will be gone and if there is anything i hate is having a heavy ass box on top of your spare tire
