ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I should be running 2 12 Infinitys but one blew the hell up.... fire everywhere and everything... so yeah. I'm cooling off the subs for a while. Nothin like looking back on the freeway and seeing your car on fire from your subwoofer.
P.S. not in the CB7 but in the previous Plymouth Sundance "Duster"Been a long time. Still alive...

I have a single Rockford HX2 10". I'm running a Rockford 500.2 to it and it sounds pretty good. I plan on upgrading to the JL side though. Rockford isn't what it used to be. I vote 10".........definately 10". You can't beat them for all around sound quality and the ever sought after "bump bump de dump".

A well built ten with proper power will sound relly good but to me a lil to punchy, I like deeper heavy bass but still clean, so 1 12" p3 in my car as of two weeks ago!
Also what size is your box? Hx2 was one of RF best subs, well built and can handle some mean basslines!
WaC!

What I find interesting is how my taste have changed in 16 years. When I left high school in 1990 I was all about the Bass. Listening to Magic Mike and Techmaster, Luke and all the other Miami music. But I have aged a little and now listen to Gospel and Jazz. I still have my Magic Mike CD's but do not play them that often. I have been fortunate enough to have only had JL, MTX and Bazooka subs. I had JL for my first system, MTX for my second and now a 10" Bazooka. I fine that I still like to hear the fullness of the music but now with less boominess. My first set of JL12W1's really were the best of both worlds. They produced the tight bass but also when I wanted to just "boom" could do it in style. The MTX RT12 were the "entry level" sub but still were tight although they did not go as low in frequency than the JL's but still nice. The Bazooka 10" tube I have now fits the type of music I listen to now, Gospel and Jazz. The response of the tube is very nice and tight.

i WOULD prefer 2 10 jlw7's However i am moneyless and have one 12 jlw3. i admire those who have those wonderful w7's!Lois: Oh, I haven't been on a college campus in years. Everything seems so different.
Stewie: Really? Perhaps if you laid on your back with your ankles behind your ears that would ring a few bells.

sometimes i wonder why anyone would put 15s in their car(MAY DYNAMAT SAVE U FOR UR TRUNK WILL SHAKE A THOUSAND CAMELS MY FRIEND)
plus u dont have enough volume in ur car to rock 15s, hence why SUV can do 15s and sound much better than car(but it also depends on the box, quality is key )"You don't have to be a Phi Beta Kappa to know not to strip-search a girl who is accused of stealing change,"
I did gagoogity that girl. I gashmoigitied her gaflavity with my googis. And I am sorry.
