ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

it mostly depends on what you want out of ur stereo system...i prefer a little bass behind my music just to round out everything since i have tweets in the front....but i had a Apline type-r 10'' but actually got rid of it and put type-S 6x9s in the back....does just fine for what i need. Also kinda depends on what kind amusic u listen to!

            10's

I think if I was a sound type of guy which Im not but when I get a bigger car I would go with either 2 to 3 10's.

10's seem to be easier to get sound quality out of. The larger the sloppier. Some nice 6x9's could do the trick if they got some power on them and do not distort.

No subs. I cannot really find 8'' Subs anymore. I have an 8'' sub on my computer speakers, and it gives me the right amount of bass, and not too much.

2 10's...they add a good amount of bass, they are cheaper too...but like previously said, it all depends on the music you listen to..im sure someone will explain in more detail

like others have said, it depends what you want and what music you listen to. for me, an 8" or 10" sub is perfectly fine. the smaller subs tend to have better response and a cleaner sound. i have one 10" and it rounds out my music perfectly.

honestly (and no offense to anyone), i don't see how people can stand having more than 2 10"s in any car. it's just too much bass unless you have a killer speaker setup.
