Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Remote start help Please!!!!

    Hey guys i'm new here and I figured this is the place to go for help! This is my first remote start install and having some issues. I bought the viper 5101/python 1401 remote start and keyless entry system. Locks work great but when I activate remote start it flashes once, gauges light up I hear the viper unit click but then everything shuts off. Does this 2 more times and then re-locks the doors and shuts off. I'm having trouble finding out what wire goes where, Its the heavy gauge 8pin H3 connector

    1-pink -- ignition 1 input/output
    2-red/white -- + fused ignition 2/flex relay input
    3-orange -- accessory
    4-violet -- starter output
    5-red -- + fused ignition 1 input
    6-pink/white -- ignition 2/flex relay output
    7-pink/black -- flex relay input if required
    8-red/black -- + fused accessory/starter input

    Currently I have the following wires connected on the ignition harness, if anyone knows please tell me what I did wrong, would be much appreciated!!! thanks!!

    1-pink --- Black/Yellow
    2-red/white --- White
    3-orange --- White/Black
    4-violet --- Black/White
    5-red --- White
    6-pink/white --- Yellow
    7-pink/black --- None
    8-red/black --- White/Black

    The red/blk wire is a 12v input and needs to be connected to the white 12v feed. All red wires connect to 12v constant.

    You also need to ground the blk/wht wire and connect the brake wire before it will work.

      So keep all my other wires where they are at, and run the rest of the red wires to constant power? I will try that.

            My bro just installed that on my cb and its fing baller. Intergrated a kill switch to it if the alarm is not taken off the car will not start
