Car video player parking brake bypass relay.

I thought this would be useful for those who is thinking about buying a video player for the car which requires the parking brake connection. I have done this for my car about 2 years now and the newer player cannot just simply ground the parking brake to play videos but rather you must ground it a few seconds after the accessories power is on. You could wire a switch or you could do a relay which is much more professional and requires no drilling.
Either of the method below will work, using the standard Bosche relay.

87----Park brake wire of your video player.
86----Remote turn on wire from the video player.
85 and 30 connect together and go to chassis ground.
87a---Not used.

86+87 connect together and go to ground.
85----Remote turn on wire from the video player.
30----Parking brake wire of your video player.

You do this at your own risk and I would not drive and watch video at the same time. This is for the enjoyment of your passengers while you are driving.

Because in most places it is illegal to drive with the video playing - hence the reason for the parkbrake input.

The fact that you add a bypass relay, undeniably means that you drive with the video playing.
