ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Double Din Size for Factory Slot

What size double din would fit perfect in our factory slot with no modification..?
Anyone have any specific type of model recommendations?
    Thx.

Asking what size double din doesn't make sense, thats like asking "what size extra large t-shirt looks best". Double din is the size. Double din is double din, they all fit the same for the most part. The only issue for u is what deck u want in there. Your choices are endless, its really whatever suites your needs.

Well you know they have different size double dins as far as depth without sticking out. But thanks for the choices..I'll find a measuring tape...
And not all XLRG shirts looks the same. Different manufactures have different standards like Double Dins. All depends on the manufacture determines the depth of the unit...

Hey thanks for the example... I will look into that and find out the dimensions on your particular unit ad use that as a reference. Thanks again..

The depths are pretty much standard, just like a single din unit. I've had many a double din and the only thing that really changes is the car u put it into. I'm not saying all, but the vast majority of them will be pretty much the same. And my comparison wasn't for the look of the extra large shirt. I was saying, "what size extra large t-shirt..." meaning u don't ask what size extra large when the size IS extra large. Thats what I meant. If I came across as a smart ass then I apologize for that.

I have a jvc detachable face, fits nice!

I know non-detachable double dins sit a little more flush

I'm thinking about going with a factory double din set up in my cb...a little bit cleaner look imo. Any suggestions for Hondas to look for that have the factory double din setup?
