I recommend a nice 5 channel amp for power and simplicity.

Components for the front, 6.5 coaxials for the rear...hell 6x9's would work too. They should be crossed over anyway. With the front speakers the woofer may be too deep so you would need to get/make spacers for them. My favorite speakers so far would be Hertz, but I only heard them on a sound board.
Sub can be one 12" that does well in small sealed boxes about 1 cu. ft. If that's too big, two 10's can work too.
HU should be a mid level model pioneer/alpine/eclipse maybe kenwood with 3 RCA outs and crossover features.
