ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Touch screen?

How difficult would it be to take one of the navigation systems with the cd player in it into my cb7, I'm talking one of the ones out of the newer SIs cuz I've always wanted a touch screen cd player with the nav system

You'd probably come out better just buying an aftermarket one that does everything you're wanting. As far as taking one out of the newer si I can't help you there man.

Yea it would be easier to just buy a double din nav unit.

No double din means it takes up double the space of a traditional radio.

That is a double din unit, see how tall it is?

Id say all of the nav units are doube din...even the OEM honda ones.

So if you buy a Pioneer/Kenwood/Bose etc double din nav unit, itll be better and possibly have more features then the OEM units.

From what i hear, Hondas OEM nav is not that good to begin with.

I see. It's exactly as wide as a single DIN unit. Or a half DIN unit...

DIN size is height, not width. Get an Eclipse Nav unit.

Sonicelectronix.com is a good place to look, I buy from them and have never had any problems. Another really good place to check is Dealercostcaraudio.com, they have great prices as well.

I've heard really bad reviews about dealercostcaraudio... or at least I think it was them. A lot of people pay for stuff and never get it from them I believe.

I'd trust sonicelectronix or audiosavings before them. Which one you looking at?

He could also use a single din, the ones that flip out.
