Audio out of left side of car?

I have a sony chassis 5 faceplate (POS) just last week the audio stopped coming out of the right side of the cars speakers i thought it was the auxillary cord but the radio's audio also only works on the left side anyone ever encounter this problem?

Are you running any sort of amplifiers or just the headunit and speakers?

This is both the right front and right rear channels you're talking about?

It's possible somebody played with your balance and shifted it all the way to the left.

I actually just bought my 91 cb7 and the whole left side wasnt working at all. i did a simple install if my old door speakers and 6x9's from my last car and wired everything seperately from the stock harness. i never found out what the problem was but it solved the problem. so if you do that you"ll be working four speakers in no time

I'm not sure but I guess it's really the right or left channel that is played all the way. It also happened to me after I bought an audio from car parts online.com.

if your not running an amp or anything just head unit to the speakers its probably just your balance. if thts not it theres probably a short somewhere or your head unit could be bad. best bet would be check the balance first then run through and do a wire check

most likely the right channel in your headunit went out. I would assume youve checked the balance.
