Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    low profile amplified subwoofers

    i want to know if anyone here is running some amplified subwoofers because i want to run a low key setup under my seat without mounting anything in the trunk. something along the lines of:

    im not looking for trunk rattling bass heard from a mile away but a nice sound to fill in the bottom end or a nice rumble. Any suggestions or input is appreciated.

      And you'd better not be looking for trunk rattling bass if your sub is under your seat. The only trunk it'll rattle ain't your car's trunk it's your trunk.

      And I'd say get some good 6.5s and an amp. Or if you want, replace rear full-range speakers with rear subs (of the same size) and add a small amp.

        I wouldnt waste my time and money on that. good pair of 6x9's in the rear like sonikaccord stated. Good pair of 6 1/2 in the front. 4 channel amp. Thats it.

          I got 6.5" components all around, gives some nice bass.

            low pro subs r shit go a good set of 6.5 comps up front and a set of 6x9 in back and amp them

              Boss? Low profile sub? Man dont waste your money on that garbage. Get some good full range 6x9 for the back
