ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

If the amp light stays blue that might mean the output on the amp is going out. Otherwise if the light goes into protect mode it's easy to diagnose, but your amp seems to think it's working...

What about at the battery? I had a problem before where I didn't have a battery hold down and that made the battery bounce in the engine bay, breaking the negative cable on the top of the battery.
Sig removed due to excessive size.

id say the ground, even tho the amp is getting power, it might not be enough. try diffrent grounds.

Are you looking at the right light? You said the light stays blue, some amps have a light for looks that is always blue or green or red or whatever, but a separate power and protection light. Make sure you're looking at the right light.

Your symptoms don't match that of a blown voice coil. That would either result in no sub output at all because your sub is broken.

The problem isn't related to your small wires.

And don't bother with a capacitor. If you wanna buy a capacitor to make your system work better, you might as well buy pay someone to wrap your hood in carbon fiber to make it faster. Or paint it green so it's more environmentally friendly.

Contact me at crazyharrydude@yahoo.com, I check that more often.

Also, we need pictures. Pictures of the amp, pictures of how the amp is sitting, pictures of how all the wires are connected, pictures of how the subs are connected, all of that fun stuff.

it could be a clipping situation. where too much power s going to them and it is making the ampo shut down for a ll bit then regain itself. ive had a few do this to me. my particular problem was that the speakers were in an ohm state that was too low for the amp to work well at. just an example say my amp was good for 4 ohm stable and i ran the speaker in 1 or 2 ohm mode then the amp would shut down and come back on after it cooled down. hope this helps.

getting a cap would not help. check your ohm load. if your amp is 2 ohm stable make sure you have your subs wired at 2ohm or above. one tip though, the higher the ohm load the lower the bass will hit.

its still good but if it black out check the r/c wire and the light of the amps on check the wiring and plus the ground it could be loose

this happened to me when i first installed my audio system , it would turn off on me for no obvious reason. i searched and found my answer.. upgrading your battery to chassis ground cable to a bigger gauge and upgrading your alternator ground cable to a bigger gauge is all i needed and system worked great. or just do the big 3 upgrade which would include upgrading the positive cable. mine was good so i felt no need. hope this helps
