i got an older rockford punch z 15"....it actually sounds real good and doesnt rattle the trunk at all....unless you set it up too

that hcca sub is rediculous. lOl. one 12" and ur gona need 0 gauge wireing and a high amp alternator AND an extra battery. sub is a beast.

I was looking at the terminator set up... I dont REALLY want it but you get what you pay for. My friend has terminators in his 240sx (i think, idc its a nissan lol) and they hit hard BUT they don't get the low stuff.

Yeah man go for it. Never heard a single bad thing about kicker and my zx series amp is still kicking Never heard of that site before though. I don't know what your definition of trunk rattle is but you are going to get vibrations whether you are running an 8 or a 15. The only annoying rattle is the license plate, but there are a ton of quick fixes. If your trunk is in fact "rattling" I would say you have bigger problems.

I have a rockford fosgate dual 4 ohm p3 12" in a mtx thunderbox bandpass box. Im pushing it with a ma audio 1200 watt mono block amp. I have a 500k microfarad capacity and it sounds amazing for 1 12'. It rattles everything if i turn the bass up, but when i turn it down it isnt to bad. I also have the speaker wired up for a 2 ohm load.

are you looking for alot of bass or just enough to make it heard cuz if your looking for hard hitting bass your gonna get a rattle id say go with dynamat for the trunk lid itself but spray the whole trunk with bedliner, which obviously youd have to remove the carpet then reinstall but bedliner serves as a sound deadener also so you would keep all the sound where you need it in the car dont do bedliner on the trunk lid though because it will add weight and you dont want weight on a piece that you constantly stick your head into also this method works great for free air subs

2 12" type r's in ported box, w/ alpine 1000 watt amp..

i make the roof/sunroof/back window all shake on my teggy

i'd reccomend 1 type r 12" if u don't want an extremely loud setup but good deep bass
