ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    DX Rear Speaker Wiring HELP

Alright, so my new DX sedan doesn't have rear speakers. I'm going to take the pods out of my totaled EX with my 6x9s and put them in the rear deck of the new DX.

Now, I know the holes are there and everything for the new speakers, but there are no wires. So my question is, how do I wire them up? A nice detailed description from anybody who's done it before would really help.

    TIA

I'd say find the wiring for the front speakers behind the cd player and splice into them but i'm not 100% on that just yet. That would be one way but i'm not sure if it's the best. Look for Sonikaccord in the member's list and he can more than help you out. He knows his shit.

Even though most DXs didn't have rear speakers, the rear speaker connectors are back there. They were a dealer installed option.

Check underneath the rear deck, in the trunk. They might be tied up and tucked away.
      My pictures/photos will return soon...

I never knew that man. Good info. If that's how it is then yeah man look underneath the rear deck and you should find them on each side. I can't remember the color codes but they should be the only wires not hooked up with a plug on them. After you find them just cut the wires and go from there.

Yeah they are there. Once you find them you'll have to cut and put on connectors that fit on your new speakers...unless your using stock 6x9's then they will plug right in,
